If you take a walk just above the bus stop in front of the Teshima Art Museum, you can get a close-up view of the ships, both large and small, sailing across the Seto Inland Sea, as well as the nearby islands of Inujima and the Ushimado area in Okayama Prefecture, located across from Shodoshima. Below you, there are terraced rice fields and the museum itself.
Under the blue sky, you’ll find orchards with figs, chestnuts, persimmons, and other fruits. In spring, you can enjoy the sight of rapeseed flowers, while from summer to autumn, fields are filled with yellow cosmos and spider lilies, creating a stunning landscape to take in.
