Original products for UMITOTA designed by Akira Minagawa of minä perhonen, as well as a photobook featuring images of Teshima, are available for purchase at the shop “Nami-no-mi” located next to UMITOTA.
The building is designed by Yoshifumi Nakamura, with furnishings and appliances designed by Akira Minagawa.
An impressionable space with a large window framing the scenery, the shop welcomes visitors to stop by and browse souvenirs to purchase as a commemoration of their visit to the island, or as gifts for their loved ones.
The name of the store, “Nami-no-mi” (the fruits of waves) reflects our hopes for visitors to spend a fruitful moment while listening to the sounds of waves.
